Perry Francis Campbell

December 1, 1943 - July 22, 2017

Perry Francis Campbell, 73, of South Point, OH died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his home.  He was born December 1, 1943 in Cherokee, NC, a son of the late David James Campbell and Bettie Sue Jones Campbell.  Perry was a Paramedic, was retired as an LPN from King’s Daughters’ Medical Center and was an Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.  He was a Purple Heart recipient.  Survivors include his wife, Sharon K. Turner Campbell; his children, Kathy (Ron) Best of Chesapeake, OH, Terri Campbell of OH, Eric Campbell of Springfield, OH, Amy (David) Gray of Flatwoods, KY, Aaron (Valerie) Campbell of South Point, Jennifer Campbell and Matthew Campbell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two brothers, David Campbell of northern Michigan and William Harris, Jr. of Eustace, FL.  A memorial service will held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2017 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Randy Tait officiating.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
