Robert E. Lewis

Robert E. Lewis, 73, of South Point, OH, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence.  Robert was born February 5, 1943 in Ironton, OH, a son of the late John Robert and Juanita Wilson Lewis.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Lewis and Mike Lewis.  He retired from AK Steel.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hunt Lewis; three children, John Robert Lewis, Shane Lewis and Stacy Mathes; two sisters, Sheri Wilds and Judy Barnhart; a brother, Scott Lewis; and 6 grandchildren, Matt and Courtney Lewis, Tanner and Tyler Mathes and Daniel and Marisa Lewis.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, OH.   Slack and Wallace Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve Roberts’s family.
