William A. Crank

March 31, 1940 - March 27, 2016

William A. Crank, 75, of South Point, OH died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at his residence.  He was born March 31, 1940 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Charles and Maggie Turley Crank.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Juanita Cremeans, Lois Maynard and Mac Thomason and a brother, Charles Crank.  He was employed as a security guard.  Survivors include 5 children, Addie Scarberry, William L. Crank, Ronald Crank, all of South Point, Danny Crank of Lesage, WV and Donnie Hickman of Ft. Gay, WV; a sister, Racheal Harvey of Salt Rock, WV; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.    Burial will follow in the Harvey Family Cemetery, Salt Rock.  Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Slack and Wallace Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
