Delores Henson

Delores Henson, 76, of Proctorville, OH passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Heartland of Riverview, South Point, OH.  She was born September 22, 1939 in Pike County, KY, a daughter of the late Avalino and Rose Caetano Sequeira.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Henson; 3 sisters, Rose Freeman, Eleanor Oxendine and Florence Sequeira; a brother, Avalino Sequeira, Jr.; and a grandson, Fred Henson, III.  Delores is survived by her daughter, Rose Henson; 3 sons, Fred Henson, Jr., Jerry Henson and Roger Henson; 2 sisters, Georgina Hobbs and Geraldine Sequeira; a brother, Jerome Sequeira; 5 grandchildren, Paul Hesson, III, Carly Henson-Kendall, Jerry Henson, II, Gavin Henson and Julia Henson; and her best friend, Ernestine Dillon.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Charles McCormick officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
