Hazel Hope Workman

May 30, 1928 - February 13, 2016

Hazel Hope Workman, 87 of Chesapeake, OH passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Best Care Nursing and Rehab Center, Wheelersburg, OH.  She was born May 30, 1928 in Lancaster, PA, a daughter of the late Ted Albert Johnson and Hazel Kirk Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Workman; 2 brothers, Richard Johnson and Ted Johnson; and one sister, Dorothy Rymer.  She was a member of Chesapeake United Methodist Church.  She is survived by three children, Ted Workman of Fairfield, OH, Mark (Patty) Workman of Chesapeake, OH and Russell (Teresa) Workman of Ashland, KY; 5 grandchildren, Tricia Turley, Mark Workman II, Elizabeth Russell, Morgan Workman and Ryan Workman; and 7 great grandchildren.  Private family graveside services were held at Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake, OH.  Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH assisted the family with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to Chesapeake United Methodist Church.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
