John William Adams, Jr.

July 9, 1946 - January 14, 2017

John William Adams, Jr., 70, of South Point, OH went home to be with his Lord Saturday, January 14, 2017.  John was born July 9, 1946 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late John William Adams, Sr. and Lena Dimitroff Adams.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Johnse Adams.  He retired as a credit manager from Brown Food Service in Louisa, KY.  John is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carolyn Hurley Adams; his daughters, Angela Adams and Christina (Aaron) Akers; a sister, Lora (Tom) Dillon; a brother, Roger (Carol) Adams; two grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Amelia Akers; and a niece, three nephews and their families.  Friends may call from 4pm to 6pm Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 1^st Southern Baptist Church, South Point, OH.
