Dorothy Ann Webb

August 6, 1933 - April 14, 2018

Dorothy Ann Webb, 84 of Deering, OH passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Harbor Healthcare in Ironton, OH.  She was born August 6, 1933 in Lawrence County, OH, daughter of the late Frank and Zara Fullen Townsend and wife of the late Clyde J. Webb (married July 16, 1954).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Allen; two brothers, James Townsend and Robert Townsend.  Dorothy was a long time member of Community Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a custodian and was a seamstress to many.  She is survived by a son and daughter in-law, Larry and Jean Webb of Ironton, OH; a daughter, Cheryl A Davis of Ironton, OH; two brothers, Richard Townsend of Scottown, OH, Daniel Townsend of Chesapeake, OH; four sisters, Darlene Jeffers of Getaway, OH, Gladys Moore of Springfield, OH, Marjorie Rice of Scottown, OH, Laura (Bill) Triplett of Ironton, OH; three grandchildren, David Joe (Carolyn) Mollett, Aaron Lee (Teresa) Mollett, Amy Lynn (Shawn) Ball; a step granddaughter, Rebecca Rodman; six great grandchildren, Kylee and Cody Mollett, Zarah Mollett, Dylan and Derrek Sesher, Garrett Ball and ten step great grandchildren.  Funeral Services will be 12 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, OH with Brother Brad Hitchcock officiating.  Burial will follow at Community Cemetery, Ironton.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
