James A. Lease

James Allen Lease, (Pa-Paw) 92, of Burlington, Ohio was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on October 20, 2012. He served in the US Army as a World War II vet. He was a past employee of the Medical Art Supply as a lab tech and also at A.C.&F. Industries as a lift truck driver. He had a love for golf and baseball. James is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen (Gray) Leace; one daughter, Patricia Redman; four brothers and three sisters. During a short illness he was surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by a loving and devoted wife of sixty nine (69) years, Martha Lease of Burlington, Ohio; a daughter, Beverly (Larry) Smith of Burlington, Ohio; four grandchildren, Mark A. McConnell of Burlington, Ohio, Jonnetta C. McConnell, Richard A. McConnell and Martha B. McConnell of Columbus, Ohio; twenty three great grandchildren, and twenty three great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and three special nephews, Jack (Dorothy) Holland of Radcliff, KY, Roger (Claudia) Holland of Ironton, Ohio and Larry Ford of Burlington, Ohio. Funeral services will be 12 noon October 25, 2012 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Bishop Gary Edwards officiating.
