WILLIAM HENRY “Bill” NICELY, 65, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Chesapeake, OH died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 23, 1947 in Huntington, a son of the late William Henry Nicely and Esther “Bonnie” Mays Nicely. Bill was a Navy veteran, a loyal and dedicated member of the Chesapeake High School Class of 1965 and was very active in planning class reunions over the years. He was also a 1985 graduate of Marshall University. He formerly served on the Chesapeake Village Council and was active with AAU Basketball. Bill is survived by an aunt, Margaret Bennett of Arizona; an uncle, Henson B. Nicely of North Carolina: and a cousin, Ruthie J. Clark of South Point, OH. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake with Pastor Charles Lane officiating. There will be no visitation.
