HAROLD DEAN ARTHUR, 55, of Ironton, OH went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was born December 18, 1956, the son of Marlene Cahal Arthur of South Point, OH and the late William A. Arthur. He was a supervisor for Fairfax Roofing and graduated from South Point High School. He was also a member of Tri-State Baptist Temple. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Paul Copley. Dean is survived by his wife, Joy Ratliff Arthur; two daughters, Amber Akers and Beth Henry; a son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Leah Ratliff; two grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Donna Laurel Arthur of Ashland, KY; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point with Pastor Tim Jayne officiating.
